Learns your patterns
After a few days Memora knows where things usually end up. It surfaces what you need before you ask.
A local-first Android app that remembers where you left your keys, wallet, earbuds — everything. Nothing leaves your device. No accounts. No cloud. No tracking.
Wasting 10 minutes every day looking for things adds up to 0 hours a year.
Memora gives that time back.
Try it right now
Ask Memora where something is. This is exactly what the app does.

Demo data — in real Memora, this is your actual history
Simple by design
Tap Track Item, type "Keys" or "Wallet", and Memora logs your current location automatically. Done in 3 seconds.
Every time you log, GPS captures exactly where you are. Bluetooth devices are logged automatically the moment you connect.
Open Memora, see where everything is. Over time it learns your patterns and reminds you before you even need to ask.
No subscription. No upkeep. No setup after the first 10 seconds. You stop noticing it — and that's exactly the point.

What's inside
Every feature was added to solve a real moment of "where did I put that?" — nothing more, nothing for looks.
After a few days Memora knows where things usually end up. It surfaces what you need before you ask.
Captures your exact location the moment you log. Name a spot once — "Home", "Office", "Mom's place" — and it persists as a geofence you can log against in a single tap.
Pair earbuds or connect to your car stereo and Memora records it automatically. The disconnect event becomes the log — no app to open, no button to press.
Set a geofence around your home or office. Cross it without logging your keys and Memora quietly reminds you before you're out of reach.
A 2×2 widget with your three most-logged items. One tap records the current GPS fix and attaches it to the item. The full app never has to launch.
The database, search index, and location logic all live on your phone. Airplane mode, subway tunnels, rural dead zones — Memora works identically in all of them.
Stored locally, encrypted with military-grade AES-256 via SQLCipher. Nothing leaves your device. Ever.
When this matters
These are the situations Memora was built for — small frustrations that add up, and the occasional real emergency.
Keys were in the kitchen last night, jacket pocket this morning, nightstand after the shower. Memora tracks which one of those you actually used — so when you're late and frantic, you open the app and already know.
Coming home with fresh chaos — passport somewhere, charger somewhere, earbud case definitely somewhere. Memora captures the location the moment you drop each thing, so the next time you need it you don't re-search every drawer.
The hex key for the IKEA shelf. The landlord's spare key. The one book a friend actually returned. Things you use once a year and would otherwise tear the house apart looking for when you finally need them.
Spouse, roommate, parent, kid. You log things you use together — remote, scissors, the good pen — and now "where did you put the X" has an actual answer instead of a shrug.
Everything stays on your device.
No servers, no accounts, no analytics, no ads. AES-256 encryption, stored only on your phone. Uninstall and everything is permanently deleted.

Memora uses your phone's Fused Location Provider, which is accurate to within a few meters outdoors. Indoors it falls back to the last known location plus your defined "Places" — so even if GPS can't see your couch, Memora knows you're at home. It tells you where you were, not which room, which is usually enough to jog your memory.
No. Memora only reads your location when you log an item or cross a geofence — it doesn't run continuous tracking in the background. Battery impact is typically under 1% per day. If you'd rather skip background features, every permission is optional.
Android 8.0 (Oreo, API level 26) or later. Memora runs on roughly 95% of active Android devices. On Android 12 and above, some features like approximate-only location work even if you deny precise location.
Yes. Settings → Export produces a standard SQLite database file you can save to Drive, a local backup folder, or anywhere else. It's encrypted with the key stored on your device, so restoring requires the same device — by design. An unencrypted JSON export is also available for portability.
Three ways: Settings → Erase all data wipes the database in-app; Android's app info page includes "Clear storage"; or simply uninstall. Because nothing is stored on a server, each of these permanently deletes every record. There's no recovery — and no recovery is possible for us either.
Nothing. Memora's SQLite database lives in the app's private storage, which Android preserves across OS updates. Your data, encryption key, and preferences all survive. The only thing that would clear them is a factory reset or uninstalling the app.
Not currently. Because Memora is fully local with no server, shared lists across devices would require the kind of sync infrastructure we've deliberately avoided. If this is important to you, send us feedback through the Play Store — it's on the roadmap under a privacy-respecting design.
Because data is only on your device, losing your phone means losing your Memora history — unless you've exported a backup. We believe this is the right tradeoff for privacy, but exporting periodically is the defense if you want one.
Location (to know where you are when you log an item), Bluetooth (for auto-logging on disconnect), and Notifications (for reminders). All processing happens locally — no data is ever sent anywhere.
Not yet. Memora is Android-only at the moment. If you want to be notified when iOS is ready, keep an eye on the Google Play listing — we'll announce it there.

Memora is built so your information never leaves your phone. This page explains how.
Section 01
Memora ("we", "our", or "the App") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains our practices regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of information through our mobile application.
Memora is designed as a Local-First application, meaning privacy is not just a feature, but the foundation of the app's architecture.
Section 02
We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to external servers. All information you enter into the App remains exclusively on your physical device. Specifically:
We do not have access to this data, and we cannot recover it if you lose your device or uninstall the App.
Section 03
To provide its core features, Memora requires certain permissions. Here is how they are used:
A. Location Data
Memora uses the Fused Location Provider and Geofencing API to detect when you arrive at or leave a saved location.
B. Bluetooth
The App requests Bluetooth permissions to detect when you disconnect from specific devices (for example, a car stereo). This trigger is used to remind you to log your items. We do not collect your Bluetooth device IDs or connection history.
C. Notifications
We use local notifications to send you reminders. These are generated entirely on your device and do not involve any remote push servers.
Section 04
Memora does not use third-party analytics (such as Google Analytics or Firebase), advertising networks, or crash reporting tools that transmit data off-device.
The App is distributed via the Google Play Store, and Google may collect certain standardized metadata as described in their own privacy policies. This is outside our control and unrelated to activity within the App.
Section 05
Memora is safe for users of all ages. Because we do not collect any personal information from any user, we are fully compliant with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). No data from children or any other users is ever transmitted to us or any third party.
Section 06
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), you are the "Data Controller" of your information.
Section 07
Since your data is stored on your device, its security depends on your device's security. We recommend using a screen lock (PIN, fingerprint, or face recognition) to protect the information stored within Memora.
Section 08
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy within the App. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
Section 09
If you have any questions or suggestions about our Privacy Policy, do not hesitate to contact us through the Google Play Store developer contact information.
